The Christchurch Health Centre team is proud to be taking part in Walk for Life in support of Farleigh Hospice.

Farleigh Hospice provides compassionate care to people across mid Essex who are living with life-limiting illnesses, supporting both patients and their families from diagnosis through to the end of life. Their care focuses on helping people live as actively and comfortably as possible, while also providing vital emotional support during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Although the NHS contributes to their funding, the hospice relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to continue providing these services. It costs over £21,000 every day to keep their care running.

As a healthcare team serving this same community, we see how important dignity, compassion, and support are at every stage of life. That’s why we’re coming together to walk, to raise awareness and help ensure Farleigh Hospice can continue the incredible work they do for families across mid Essex.
