Well hey there peeps, can you BELIEVE it has been FIVE whole years since my mastectomy? I sure cannot! I will be hula hooping for FIVE whole hours to celebrate :D

I lost my b00bies 5 years ago, but I have gained SO much in the process. I felt so alone through my experiences but found solace in the amazing online community. This ultimately inspired me to set up BRCA+ Chat a national UK charity.

I always said if I helped just one person, I would be happy, and I am thrilled to see BRCA+ Chat helping hundreds of people on a monthly basis. We have online talks, peer support groups, IRL socials across the UK, as well as a wealth of information and pics to help people through their BRCA+ journey.

This charity is a labour of love, which I run voluntarily on top of my day job. Whilst we all volunteer to keep the charity going, we need monies to enable it's growth, and ultimately reach and help more humans.

I cannot wait for bigger events, super dooper guest speakers, and fancier resources... I am so excited to see how far it will go... it has come a long way in just 3 years... I am proud as punch.

Life is better with support around you - and I hope that's what I can create for my little BRCA+ Gang.
