Over the first weekend in May, I will be joining a group of John Ball parents and friends for an exciting fundraising challenge - cycling from London to Paris!

On Day 1, we'll ride from John Ball School in Blackheath, London to Newhaven, where we’ll board the ferry to Dieppe.

On Day 2, we’ll cycle through the scenic Normandy countryside, making our way to Giverny, home to Monet's famous gardens.

On Day 3, we’ll continue our journey from Giverny to Paris, with the grand finale at the iconic Eiffel Tower.

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could support me with a donation to raise much needed funds for the school. As an example, the school was recently able to invest £20,000 in new playground equipment and landscaping to create a quiet garden for the children, none of which would have been possible with support from The Friends of John Ball.

The Friends of John Ball is a vibrant PTA for the John Ball Primary School in Blackheath.

We exist to bring children, teachers, parents and carers within the school community together and to enrich the students' education experience by raising money and contributing to the wellbeing of the school.

We hold events throughout the school year to build the community within the school and to raise funds to benefit all the children within the school.

The money we raise funds extra initiatives that are not provided for by the school's budget.
