My granddaughter Jasmine has hypomobile Elhers Danlos syndrome since birth which affects almost every system in her body . Due to this condition she is permanently attached to medical devices , lives with a feeding tube , catheter and central line to keep her alive and functioning and is in and and out of hospital a lot with complications from Elhers danlos syndrome. Since a baby she has loved to swim but is unable to now due to her conditions . I am a very keen swimmer and want to help raise money for this charity because there needs to be more discussions and understanding around this condition and how it can affect people .

My plan is to swim 22miles which is the equivalent of swimming the English Channel . Any support and encouragement for this would be greatly appreciated.
