🌟 Jill’s Army Takes on the 10K Starlight Hike 🌟

On the 4th October 2025, we, Jill’s family – aka Jill’s Army – will be walking 10K under the stars in Peterborough to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, where our beloved Jill spent her final two weeks surrounded by compassion, dignity, and care.

Jill was a devoted wife, a loving parent, a dedicated grandparent and a true fighter with extraordinary courage and fearlessness. Her honesty, warmth, and personality touched everyone who knew her. Even in her final days, she showed us what it means to live with resilience and unwavering strength.

Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice gave Jill the comfort, support, environment and compassion she deserved, and gave us – her family – the peace of knowing she was in the best hands. Now, we walk to honour her memory and to help ensure others receive the same incredible care.

Every step we take is for Jill. Every pound raised helps Sue Ryder continue their essential work, providing expert care and emotional support to families during the most difficult times.
