Here we go again Sir William Robertson Academy!

Our school has supported the Grantham Rotary Swimarathon for more than 15 years and this year we are hoping it will be bigger and better than ever. Last year SWRA raised over £5,100 for local Lincolnshire charities and this year we have set ourselves a hefty target of £7,500. With our renewed House system we are fighting it out in the pool to win points for our houses and I am hoping the fundraising efforts will be just as impressive.

We have SWRA community teams swimming on the Friday night and our school SWRA House teams swimming on the Saturday afternoon.

We also have a number of pupils each year that help the Rotary club run this event and again our leaders are ready to step into whatever role is thrown their way - including filling empty lanes to swim if swim teams are a no show.

If you would like to make a donation for a particular swimmer - please add their name to your pledge, if it is a particular House you would like to sponsor state the House and if it is just a general donation for the school the pledge is greatly received! Thank you very much.
