Climbing Kilimanjaro for The King's Trust
As part of the 50th Anniversary of The King's Trust, I will be taking on the exciting challenge of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, summiting on St. David's Day (1st March) in 2026.
The King's Trust has been changing young lives for 50 years, and I'm thrilled to be supporting their vital work as part of their anniversary celebrations. The trust believes that every young person deserves the chance to succeed, no matter what their background and despite any challenges they may be facing. Widening inequalities continue to harm the prospects of young people, and it is those who already face disadvantage and adversity who are most at risk of being left behind.
At 19,341 feet, Kilimanjaro will test every ounce of my determination and endurance. Knowing that every step I take and every pound I raise will help support young lives makes this challenge feel not just worthwhile, but essential.
My goal is to raise £10,000 – the money raised by taking on this challenge will make a positive difference for young people. As a mother and nutritional therapist who works closely with young people every day, I see firsthand the challenges they face and the transformative power of the right support. I am very proud to be playing a part in The King's Trust's continued mission.
Thank you for considering a donation. Your support will help young people get the best start in life and fulfil their potential.
