March 3rd is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Awareness Day!

As many of you know in April of 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I underwent 6 months of IV chemo, a double mastectomy and I still have 6 more months of oral chemo and a reconstructive surgery ahead of me.

Triple negative breast cancer is an aggressive form of breast cancer effecting only 10-15% of people diagnosed with breast cancer. Those diagnosed with TNBC have a higher chance of recurrence than other types of breast cancers 50%. Unlike other breast cancers it’s unknown what “feeds” TNBC.

The TNBC Foundation is an amazing organization and during the month of March 100% of the donations we raise go directly towards research specifically for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I would greatly appreciate any donation that can help us continue fighting against this awful disease.
