Supernova Kelpies (Friday) 2025 · 14 March 2025 ·

Impact Arts is a national community arts charity, transforming lives through creativity for communities across Scotland. We deliver art projects combined with therapeutic support for children, young people, adults, and older people who are experiencing poverty, disadvantages, or poor life chances.

Story

Emma was a part of cohort 14 of the Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship that we all started in October 2022.

Emma had a huge impact on us all. She was always smiling, she was funny and had a caring encouraging word for us all. She was a core part of our fellowship and she is hugely missed by us all.

We know she loved her work with Older People and her love and talent for art and design was evident to us all.

We found Impact Art and they have a class for Older Adults in Edinburgh. The Craft Cafe creates a sense of purpose, reduces isolation and provides a therapeutic space which allow residents to feel better connected. From painting and drawing to jewellery making and sculpture, the Craft Café bridges the gap between care and housing support, creating a vibrant creative space and improving social interaction. The classes supported by previous donations have started!

We are running the Kelpies 5km on the 14th March to keep supporting this great cause in her memory! she was a great runner 🏃🏼‍♀️. ………

… I AM NOT !!

So to support me in trying to honour Emma’s memory please sponsor this brilliant cause . I would appreciate your contribution and it’s always good to pay it forward ! Life’s too short xx
