I’m taking part in

COURAGE ON THE CATWALK

at

P&J Live

for charity.

As many of you know I was diagnosed with BRCA2 and from that I found out I had breast cancer. I was so lucky that it was diagnosed early, my next mammogram would have been 2 years later so after surgery I didn’t need chemo.

I am delighted to say I’ve been picked to be one of the “models” for Courage on the Catwalk which takes place at the P&J Live in Aberdeen in May. I’ll be strutting my stuff on the catwalk in front of over 2000 people over 2 nights.

It’s a charity event which takes place every year for the charity Friends of Anchor who do an amazing job for cancer patients and research in Aberdeenshire, Orkney and Shetland.

66 ladies applied who have had a cancer or blood disorder diagnosis and I was one of the 30 chosen.

There are a lot of rehearsals in Aberdeen and thankfully Northlink ferries has given me some sponsorship towards my travel.

I’de love to use this opportunity to raise as much money as possible for Friends of Anchor. Hardly any family is not affected by cancer and they do an amazing job for everybody.

Every penny of every donation will go straight to the charity.
