Throughout her life Christine had a passion for the natural world - whether it was her love of nature, pot holing at university, teaching in Singapore, leading fieldwork measuring rivers or travelling to see reefs and glaciers - she knew both the beauty and the challenges nature can present.

While she supported many charities, we feel that her memory is honoured by donating to the British Red Cross who help those facing conflict, flooding or food shortages and fires at home and abroad

The British Red Cross bring comfort and aid when all hope and humanity feels lost.
