The Knit for a Bit challenge calls on all knitting and crocheting enthusiast to help raise vital funds for the hospital’s essential therapies and services through creating mittens and socks for our patients and residents

Story

I'm partaking in the RHNs Knit for a Bit campaign to support of the work of the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) who provide specialist care for people living with life changing brain injury and illness.

The RHN raises funds for additional therapies, services and equipment, including music therapy, therapeutic art, our leisure and family support services and equipment such as communication aids, specialist wheelchairs, bespoke beds and mobility equipment.

These extras allow us to improve quality of life for patients at the RHN, whatever their ability.

£15 could pay for a box of assorted art paper for painting and drawing.

£30 could provide a session of communication therapy, helping a patient re-connect with the world.

£80 could pay for a 1-to-1 Music Therapy session

£200 could buy portable devices like talking message boards, so patients can interact with family and friends.

Thank you so much for visiting my page and any donation is hugely appreciated.
