For this year's ride I'm tackling the elements head-on. Mid July as usual, and I'm optimistic that sunshine due in Sunnyhill (Derby) and Sunnymead (Oxford) will banish the effect of my passing through places such as Hailey (Herts), Rainworth (Notts) and Snowshill (Glos).
