We’re the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. And we’re building a future where people and nature thrive together. That’s why we’re passionate about sharing the planet’s resources more sustainably, tackling climate change and protecting endangered wildlife.

Story

On the 7th of January 2023, I will be collecting and recycling Christmas trees in aid of WWF. I will be collecting trees between 8am and 7pm. Once all of the Christmas trees have been collected at the end of the day, they will be put through a wood chipper and turned into woodchip/mulch. These are then delivered to a local farm (Eves hill Farm) in Booton. Where they will be recycled by being used for mulching around new hedges, agroforestry and turned into compost for crop nutrition.

How to sign up

Firstly make sure you are within the collection area. The map roughly indicates the area covered (approximately a 8 mile radius of Reepham, Nr10 4jl). To view the collection area map, open up the cover photo on this page and then swipe to the left.

Next, please donate a minimum donation of £5 per tree. Email or text your full address and best contact number along with a screenshot of your donation receipt.
