How to celebrate turning 65?
Well, I have set myself a challenge – to run another marathon – and for the past 11 weeks I have been training hard, and will continue for the final few weeks.
On Thursday 11 September I will again set off from Aylsham, north of Norwich, along the old railway lines known as Marriotts Way, and end up (hopefully about 5 ½ hours later) at The Forum in the city centre.
So instead of buying me a card (99p) and postage stamp (87p) this year perhaps you would add £1.86 into my fundraising account.
Or maybe £21.86 or £31.86. Or even £51.86.
All money donated will go to Keeping Abreast, the charity that supports women going through or considering reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. I am honoured to be a Patron and always delighted to support them.
