Christopher's fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Christopher Ball is raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society
In memory of Derek Ball my Father

Warrington to Blackpool run · 15 August 2026

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

My 12th year MS Charity runs for 2026

It's that time of the year to post my running Challenges for 2026

After spending the start of the year supporting the lord mayors' charities it's time to get my running trainer back out causing my wife to age 10 years.

This year like my last 11 I’m hoping to raise some much-needed funds for the MS Society

My main challenge will be on Saturday the 15th of August when I'll be running to Blackpool from Warrington

On the 20th of September I will be running the Warrington Half Marathon

On the 27th of September I will be running the Loch Ness Marathon

On the 11th of October I will be running the Chester Marathon

On the 8th of November I will be running the Tatton park half marathon

This will be my 12th year setting challenges in memory of my Dad Derick Ball who spent most of his adult life with Multiple Sclerosis

The best way I can explain MS, it affected not just my dad, it affected all my family, we all had to learn to live with it and grow up fast

I know without the support network from the MS Society things would have been different, they allowed myself and my siblings to have our dad at home

I know every year there's another family out there getting the news that a loved one has been diagnosed with MS

This is my challenge, allow them the same precious time with their loved one my family was blessed with

This year I'm hoping to raise £500 through my challenges if possible

I know times are hard for a lot of family's so asking people to support me year after year never gets any easier

The only reward I can offer people is my heartfelt thanks and my word that you really are making a big difference to a lot of family's

If you can donate or send a message of support that would be amazing

Thank you for taking the time to read my story
