In January 2023 I was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of Prostate Cancer (Gleason 5+5).

At Christmas after months of treatment I was given the news it was healing extremely well. At this news my daughter Molly said we should run the Ilkley Half Marathon in aid of PCUK. We were quickly joined by close relatives Dean and Sophie Myers.

Unfortunately, in February I was given the very disappointing news that the cancer has spread to my spine. I was immediately put on chemotherapy which means I no longer can run the race. My sons Ned and Ben have stepped into the breach.
