Story
Big news: I’ve signed up for my first ever half marathon. Yes, me. The person whose longest run to date has been for a train
But I’m not just doing this for the medal (or the bragging rights), I’m running to raise money for Shelter, the amazing charity fighting homelessness and bad housing across the UK
Right now, far too many people are living in insecure, unsafe, or temporary accommodation. Shelter provides advice, legal support, and a voice for those who need it most; and their work has never been more important
So while I’ll be pounding the pavement and questioning my life choices at mile 10, every donation you make will go towards helping someone find safety, security, and dignity in their home
Please support me (and Shelter) if you can, every pound will keep me moving and make a difference where it’s needed most
Thank you, and if you see me after the race, please don’t be surprised if I’m moving slower than a Wi-Fi connection in a lift
