My mother is the heart and soul behind my decision to raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America. For the past few years, I have watched this relentless disease take so much from her—her energy, her strength, and at times, even her spirit. Lupus is more than just a diagnosis; it’s a daily battle, an invisible weight she carries with unwavering resilience. I’ve seen the exhaustion in her eyes, the pain she tries to hide, and the moments when even the simplest tasks feel insurmountable. Yet, despite it all, she fights.

She fights through the fatigue. She fights through the pain. And she fights for the people she loves.

That’s why I am stepping into this cage—not just as an athlete, but as a son who refuses to stand by and do nothing. I am fighting for her. I am fighting for those who can’t.

The opportunity to raise money through MMA Allstars is more than just an event for me—it’s a mission. Every punch I throw, every round I push through, is a tribute to the strength of my mother and the millions of others battling lupus. This is my way of giving back, of standing beside them in their fight, and of making sure their struggles are not ignored.

Because if she can wake up every day and fight, then so can I.
