Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
Diabetes is a condition that often goes misunderstood and underestimated. With the rise of Type 2 diabetes diagnoses linked to modern, inactive lifestyles and poor nutrition, it’s more important than ever to raise awareness. Having witnessed the impact of diabetes firsthand in my family—my mother with Type 1 and my father with Type 2—I know how crucial it is to support those affected by this condition. In my mother’s case, diabetes contributed to her passing at a relatively young age of 60, which has fueled my passion for this cause.
I’ve seen both the challenges and the advancements in treatment and management of diabetes, much of which is thanks to organisations like Diabetes UK. Their work has made a significant difference in many lives, including my own family’s journey.
This year, I’m excited to participate in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 12, 2025! I’m aiming to raise £1,000 for Diabetes UK because every contribution helps fund vital research and support services that can change lives.
I invite you to join me on this journey—whether by donating or sharing this page with others who might be interested in supporting this important cause. Together, we can make a difference!
