YMCA Community Kitchen

The YMCA would like to establish a community kitchen and pantry to address food insecurity, food waste while building a stronger more compassionate community. Our aim is to provide free meals for those who need it.We recognise the value of every person who uses our centre, we believe that the YMCA has a responsibility to support our community.

Our main purpose is to create a safe, welcoming space for users of all ages to attend, enjoy a warm meal or take away a food parcel. We hope to reduce the feelings of social isolation and food insecurity within our community. Our aim is to loosen the grip of poverty felt by many in our area by providing free, nutritious meals while creating a strong community connection. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, by providing these services for free we guarantee no one is left behind.
