Story

Welcome to my RAFA 2025 London Marathon JustGiving page. I'm Chris, a USAF Exchange Officer serving in the RAF. If I could grab your attention for a moment, I would like to share a little bit about the amazing things RAFA is doing for the RAF active duty, retired members and their families. Did you know RAFA offers a wide range of services including financial assistance, befriending, mental wellbeing training courses and bespoke casework support? I am a newly minted RAFA Connections for Life Volunteer and absolutely amazed how this organization is able to connect with and help the RAF community. In 2022, I signed up for the Melton Mowbray RAFA ride and was so impressed when a member of the RAFA team called me up to ask how my training was going and if there was anything they could do to support me. I was in absolute shock that someone genuinely cared about my training! It really made my day and from that brief interaction, I have been motivated to pay it forward and fundraise for RAFA.

Thank you for stopping by my page and if you can give a little bit to this organization to help continue these acts of kindness and support or thank a vet/active duty service member for their sacrifice, I'd be most grateful.

Aim High & Per Ardua ad Astra
