We help premature and sick babies in the UK to give every baby the best possible future

Story

The team of Chris Newell, Adrian Howells, Mark Hendrick, Calvin Bond and Barrie- Ross-Dow fresh from cycling Paris to Geneva in September 2022, are taking on the next and final (!) leg of the adventure.

Why we do this to ourselves, I do not know but we have raised some fantastic money (thank you for being so generous!) over the last few years and it feels right to cap off the adventure with a final ride.

This challenge will be another step up as we aim to traverse the Alps into Nice following the Route Napoleon.

We will be climbing quite a few Cols along the way including the Col de Corobin (1230m) of Tour de France fame.

This year, the team will be raising money for various charities and I will be supporting Bliss. Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work, and without our help they won't be able to reach the 90,000 babies needing neonatal care each year.

Your donation to my page will help Bliss to drive improvements in neonatal care, to ensure that the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and to provide information and support to all families with a baby born premature or sick.

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. We rely on donations to fund our work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes we don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs us. Your donation can help Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.
