More about The butterfly AVM Charity: An arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a abnormal tangle of blood vessels that causes problems with connections between your arteries and veins. AVMs Most often occur in the spinal cord and in the brain but can develop elsewhere in the body. Source ( National institute of neurological disorders and stroke (.gov) the condition directly effects my cousin Nikki Christou who was diagnosed in 2012 and has gone on to have over 100rd operations with many being life threatening, no matter how hard her condition has affected her livelihood she hasn't let her condition define her and she's gone to do incredible things with YouTube, bakery, make up her heart and discipline is something we should all aspire to have, if she can endure 100rd operations getting into a boxing ring doesn't seem so scary, I want my performance to be a symbol of hope for all AVM sufferers.

I Would also like to honour my boxing Endeavour to my grandad Christakis Perifimou who was diagnosed with lung cancer summer 2021 not only is he family, he is a best friend
