Story
One of my colleagues has decided to complete a Tough Mudder to "celebrate" her 40th birthday and I very foolishly agreed to join her!
The event is this Saturday and it's probably a bit too late now to ramp up or even start my training programme. What can possibly go wrong given my age, lack of fitness, the extra weight I will be carrying around and the fact that my knees haven't worked properly since the 1980's!
Our team is fundraising for Stepping Stone Projects an amazing local charity who are also celebrating their 40th anniversary. Any donation whatever the amount will give me the motivation to keep going, even through Artic Enema and Electroshock Therapy.
Stepping Stone Projects supports people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless with the aim of helping them to develop the skills, they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them to secure or retain a permanent home of their own. All monies raised will add to the customer hardship fund which is a fund of last resort to support SSP's customers in most need.
