Story

Why We’re Raising Money

This year, we’re determined to make our biggest fundraising impact ever for Candlelighters — a charity that supports children fighting cancer and the families who stand beside them across the UK.

Our mission is inspired by Ella from Woodlesford, Leeds, a brave and incredible little girl whose journey has touched our whole community. The support Candlelighters has provided to Ella and her family has shown us just how vital their work is — not just locally, but nationwide.

By raising funds, we want to help Candlelighters continue offering:

💛 Emotional and practical support for families across the country

💛 Funding for life-changing research into childhood cancers

💛 Specialist hospital support and enhanced care

💛 Financial help for families during unimaginably difficult times

💛 Special experiences that give children moments of joy when they need it most

If you’d like to contribute, you can donate nationwide through our JustGiving page — every penny genuinely makes a difference.

For our local supporters in Leeds:

🟣 You can also make a donation in person at the Candlelighters donation station inside The Two Pointers pub in Woodlesford.

Can’t get there yourself? No problem — you can message us directly, and we’ll happily add your donation to the machine on your behalf.

Let’s come together — as a community and a country — to make this the biggest year ever for donations in support of Ella and all the families Candlelighters helps.

Thank you for standing with us. 💛🎗️
