I've decided to give myself the challenge of completing a 50km trek along the jurassic coast. I've always loved hiking and have over the past few years, I've become an advocate for mental health in both my professional and personal life. Rather than just talk about it, I've decided to put my best foot forward. Literally. Starting at Swanage I'll be trekking along the Jurassic coast and finishing on Weymouth Beach.

So ,why mental health? Well, for the past seven years I've been supporting my wife through her eating disorder and have seen first hand the need for mental health support. I've also in the past few years lost a friend and two family members to suicide. To me, this shows the need to raise awareness, so that people feel that they can talk about their mental health and get the support that they need.
