Thank You Royal London Hospital For My Successful Emergency Operation, Your Excellent Skill and Care.
For my 75th birthday I am still pushing to raise more money to thank all the staff for performing my emergency brain bleed operation, and brilliantly looking after me since then. Thanks also to the social worker who found me in my flat, and the emergency Ambulance team involved.
We all relate to the phenomenal hand clapping for the NHS, and it was a magnificent gesture at that time. I am now pleading for anyone to join me in extending our gratitude further, by paying £2 or more towards this birthday appeal. While reading this, I know it will remind many of you about your own reasons for wanting to offer further appreciation.
I am asking that the money raised will go directly to the person in charge of the new Wellbeing Hub, who will decide how to use it to best advantage. It may involve further tea and coffee making facilities, a bank of foot massagers, or whatever is considered most appropriate. I have been shown this new facility, it's on the 9th floor at the Royal London, and is available to all personnel, whether senior or junior, to crash out, relax and rest. BIG THANK YOU!
75th Anniversary for the NHS took place on Wednesday; atmosphere and staff were marvellous. Fund raising still doing well, but more needed. BIG PLEASE, if you haven't yet donated, £2 or more will all be equally appreciated. It's as easy as clapping. Just click on bit.ly/chrisjustgiving
