The Clockmakers' Charity has been active since 1631. It supports horological projects and education, and general charitable endeavours, as well as our wonderful Clockmakers' Museum in South Kensington. In 2022 we are raising funds to update our gallery space, creating new horological displays.

Story

In Loving Memory of Christopher Clarke.

Christopher Clarke, Father of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and Past Master (1992), passed away peacefully on Friday, 22nd November 2024.

Christopher dedicated his life to the jewellery and horological trades, making significant and lasting contributions that have shaped these industries. His leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence set a shining example for all who knew him.

To honour Christopher’s memory and his lifelong passion, we are raising funds for the Clockmakers’ Charity—a cause deeply close to his heart. The charity supports clockmaker training & other horological causes, as well as supporting the Clockmakers' Museum.

Your generous donations will pay tribute to Christopher’s remarkable legacy and help sustain the craftsmanship and traditions he held so dear.
