Story
When James, our son, was born in January 2023, he spent time in the RVI's neonatal Ward 35.
During what was a very scary, stressful and generally uncertain time for Alice and I, James received exceptional medical care from the hospital, while Tiny Lives provided us with invaluable support - and have done in the years since, too.
James turned three in January and is thriving and we will forever be grateful.
But other families spend far longer requiring specialist support, with their child in the Special Care Baby Unit for weeks or months, while tragically others lose babies and the network and resources which Tiny Lives provide are essential in all those scenarios.
Every family should have access to that and we want to make sure that as many parents as possible can do so. This is our latest small contribution to that, with Chris attempting to run a 5K every day throughout April 2026..
