Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
We have set up The Chubb’s Crusade - Understanding Ullrich to raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Ullrich CMD Appeal after our daughter Josie was formally diagnosed with the condition in July 2021.

Story

Another year and another challenge to undertake for the Chubbs Crusade - Understanding Ullrich Campaign!

This year we will retrace Roman footsteps in a coast to coast hike spanning the length of Hadrians Wall.

Starting at Bowness-on-Solway on the west cost of Cumbria, covering 84 miles (135km), and finishing on the east coast of Northumberland in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Our team (James Chubb, Harry Collison, Ed Abis, Henry Lucas, Chris Owen & Dan Grey) are aiming to complete this journey within 2 days!

As always the objective is to raise awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK and specifically the Chubbs Crusade - Understanding Ullrich Campaign.

The Chubb's daughter, Josie (7), suffers from Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy, a rare muscle wasting disease which is progressive and has no cure.

It is of vital importance to continue to generate much needed awareness and funds to help Muscular Dystrophy UK continue the research and support for all suffering with muscle wasting and weakening conditions. Funds will also go to supporting Josie's life needs.
