Churchill Troop vs 1000 · 4 December 2026

Story

72 HOURS • 1,000 KM • £1,000 FOR THE HEREFORD & WORCESTER ACF CHARITABLE TRUST

This year, Churchill Troop of the Army Cadet Force is taking on a challenge together — Churchill Troop vs 1,000!

Over one weekend, approximately 50 cadets will have 72 hours to collectively complete 1,000 kilometres.

The challenge is designed so that everyone can get involved, regardless of age, fitness level or ability. Cadets can walk, run, cycle, swim, hike or take part in another suitable activity, with every kilometre contributing towards our overall troop target.

🏆 Our Distance Targets

🟢 Bronze — 250 km

🔵 Silver — 500 km

🟡 Gold — 750 km

🔴 CHURCHILL — 1,000 km

Cadets will also be competing individually throughout the weekend, with prizes available for those who complete the greatest distances.

❤️ Why are we doing it?

We are raising money for the Hereford & Worcester ACF Charitable Trust, which provides valuable financial support to our cadets and helps us deliver activities, training and opportunities that may otherwise be difficult to fund.

Our initial fundraising target is £1,000, but we’d love to go beyond that. Every donation will make a difference and help us continue providing our cadets with the opportunities they deserve.

Whether you sponsor a cadet, make a donation, share our challenge or simply cheer us on, thank you for supporting Churchill Troop.

72 HOURS. 1,000 KM. £1,000.

Can Churchill Troop beat 1,000?

Thank you for your support! ❤️
