Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When you’re part of something different, unique, meaningful…it gives you a real sense of purpose, pride and belonging, our vision at the Coop is to make a real difference to the communities we serve and as you know we are always up for a challenge! This year Kenny McDonald, Simon Matthews and Mark Cox have signed up to trek Mount Olympus, climbing to the highest point in Greece at 2917m to raise much needed funds for Jersey Cheshire Home.

We have also set up some training events locally which will see us complete store to store walks in both islands in early July, covering some 60 miles in both islands.

The Jersey Cheshire Home is the only residential facility on the island, caring solely for physically disabled adults. Sadly, there is an ever-increasing demand for their services and the facility is always at full capacity. Like many charities the pandemic has severely impacted the homes ability to fundraise so any donations would be greatly appreciated and will make a real difference.
