Story
I’ll be walking 30KM for Campaign against living miserably on the 19th September in their 2026 edition of trek for CALM
I've chosen to raise money for CALM and the vital work they do as it's a cause very close to my heart and I hope I can play a small part in CALM being able to help someone out of a place where they feel it's the only option.
I'm passionate about raising awareness for mental health and help that is out there, having experienced losses because of it and also experiencing and suffering myself in some dark places.
I've chosen a trek as well to challenge my self but also back in 2023 we lost one of the best people I've ever known and he loved a good long walk and it inspired me to take this one on.
I've I've also experienced the great work CALM can do first hand when I've been in some dark places and experienced first hand how they can help and I want to give back and raise money so they can continue to provide their services to others.
We’ll walk for those we’ve lost. We’ll walk to celebrate those who've survived. And we’ll walk to smash the stigma around suicide and get people talking. This isn’t a walk in the park - it’s a life-changing (and life-saving) trek.
