Story
Hi everyone. I’m going to be getting my hair cut and donating it to The Little Princess Trust (minus the red and blue bits, as those can’t be donated).
I haven’t changed or cut my hair since I was 11 years old (red and all!. It’s been waved around at every single gig I’ve ever played, but soon to be 26, closer to 30 than I am to 20, I no longer feel like the person I was when I first grew and dyed my hair.
Someone needs it more than me, and knowing it can go on to help someone and continue making a difference in someone’s life is so important, and what a legacy for my beloved hair!
This not only gives me a chance to shed the weight of the last few years and have a fresh start, but it’s also a fresh start for someone in need.
The reason this fundraiser is required as well as my hair donation, is because it costs money to actually make the wigs for those who need them, and the LPT is all self funded.
If you’re able to, please consider donating :)
“The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.”
