Staff from Glangwili Hospital Estates Department and Wales Roofing Solutions are taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 6th September 2025, to raise money for Cilgerran Ward - the dedicated children's ward at Glangwili Hospital.

This challenge will see us climb the three highest peaks in North, Mid, and South Wales - Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen Y Fan, all within 24 hours. It's going to be tough, but nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by the children and families cared for on Cilgerran Ward.

Cilgerran Ward provides vital care and support for children from across Carmarthenshire and beyond. Whether they're facing short-term illness, ongoing treatment, or recovering from surgery, every child on the ward is met with compassion, professionalism, and a comforting environment.

The money we raise will go directly towards making a difference, from improving facilities and purchasing specialist equipment, to helping create a more comfortable and engaging space for children and their families during difficult times.

We're doing this because we believe every child deserves the very best care and the warmest possible experience when they're unwell, and we want to give something back to a team that gives so much every single day.
