I’m beyond excited (and honestly so honored) to share that I’ve been accepted to run the Berlin Marathon with Street Child. This race is so much more than a marathon for me—it’s a chance to run with purpose.

Street Child works in some of the toughest and most underserved communities across the world, making sure children are safe, in school, and learning. They step in where gaps exist—where support is missing but desperately needed—and focus on children who are often overlooked. Right now, they’re impacting lives across more than 20 countries, helping create real, lasting change through education.

And that mission is something I deeply believe in.

Supporting children has been a lifelong part of who I am—through volunteering at orphanages, serving through my church, and my time with AmeriCorps. I’ve seen how access to education, stability, and care can completely change a child’s future. It’s not just about school—it’s about giving a child the chance to dream, to grow, and to build a life filled with opportunity.

Running has always been my way of turning purpose into action. It’s taught me resilience, discipline, and gratitude—and now I get to use it to support something bigger than myself.

✨ One of my biggest life goals is to complete all six World Marathon Majors within 35 years, and having Berlin tied to this mission makes it even more meaningful.
