National 3 Peaks Challenge · 7 June 2025

Birmingham Hospice offers specialist palliative and end of life care for those with a terminal illness. Whether at home, in the community or at our hospices, we help people live well, with dignity, and make the most of every moment they have left.

Story

In June 2025, five colleagues from Circyl will be attempting the National 3 Peaks challenge. The Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon ) are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The challenge is to climb each of these three peaks – one after the other in 24 hrs! In other words, 26 miles (42km) total horizontal distance, 3,000m (9,843ft) of vertical ascent in 24 hrs.

We are doing this for Birmingham Hospice which is the new name for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and John Taylor Hospice.

Their vision is a future where everyone with a life-limiting illness will live and die with dignity and in comfort.

Offering personalised support at home, in local communities or at the hospices, they help people across Birmingham to live well with their illness, right up to the very end of life.

I have had personal experience of the services that Birmingham Hospice can provide as they supported both my Brother-in-law and Father in-law as they both battled cancer. Birmingham Hospice provided amazing care and support for all the family through very difficult times.

Please help us support this fantastic organisation by donating to our challenge.
