I’m raising money for the Lilac Centre, a chemotherapy and immunotherapy unit in the north-west that supports people battling cancer. The team there treated my sister for Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2019, and this is my way of giving back to the incredible staff who cared for her.

Their support helped her maintain a sense of normality during treatment. Thankfully, she is now in remission and looking forward to life with her husband and two young children.

To support this cause, I’ll be cycling 18,000 kilometres from Shanghai to Liverpool, starting on 6th May and aiming to finish in October.

Any donation, big or small, would mean a great deal to my sister, my family, and everyone at the Lilac Centre.
