Story

Tristan Brown, Toby Peatfield, CJ Peatfield and Sarah Wright run the London Marathon for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page which hopes to raise £10,000 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Tristan, Toby and Sarah all work together at Ravenscroft and will be joined on the London Marathon start line by CJ.

Having run the Jersey Marathon last year, CJ was the first to commit to the race and persuaded his father Toby to join him as a way of celebrating his 60th birthday. Toby has run 14 marathons around the world but hasn’t taken on 26.2 miles for 15 years.

Tristan has previously run three different marathons – Guernsey and Barcelona in 2023 and then a third in December when he joined rugby legend Kevin Sinfield as part of his 7in7in7 challenge which raised £1.1 million for the MND community. He plans to run the Guernsey marathon the week before with the aim of a sub three hour on the home route and 3 hrs 10 in London.

This will be Sarah’s first London marathon having previously completed Paris, Manchester and Guernsey twice.

All of the money raised will to go to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People which trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as smoke alarms, alarm clocks and baby monitors.

About the charity
