After running the Flower City Half Marathon in Rochester, New York, I caught the running bug, and am pleased to announce I will be continuing my fundraising for Anthony Nolan by running the adidas Manchester Marathon in April 2024.

Anthony Nolan is a Blood Cancer charity who save the lives of those will blood cancers or disorders, by matching individuals who are willing to donate stem cells to those in need.

Only 25% of individuals with blood cancers or disorders can find a stem cell match within their family, so they look to the stem cell register to find a suitable match.

Donating stem cells is incredibly easy and gives someone with blood cancer or a blood disorder a second chance at life.

As part of my role as Social Secretary of Leeds Marrow, I've been welcomed into an amazing group of people, driven to help save the lives of those with blood cancers or disorders. This year, we've recruited nearly 500 people to the Stem Cell Register at Leeds alone.

The work Anthony Nolan do is life changing, and they have supported a few of my friends during their journeys with cancer. Therefore, I am fundraising to help support the work, research and support they provide to patients and their families.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make such a huge difference to those who are suffering from blood cancers or a blood disorder.
