We lost my mum to dementia and to be honest I’m scared that I will get it too.

It’s a cruel disease that effects everyone around the individual.

My way of limiting the chances of getting it is to keep fit and strong, by challenging myself with things outside my comfort zone.

I’ve chosen this event as it takes place on the coast were my mum’s family was from and that’s important to me too.

It’s certainly going to be a challenge but it will be worthwhile- I hope you can help me raise funds to help families care for those affected
