Clair's fundraiser for Brathay Trust

Clair Priestley is raising money for Brathay Trust

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon charity runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise vital funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

The Brathay Trust is an amazing charity that has been making a significant impact in Cumbria and West Yorkshire, helping 7000 young people and families every year. Their mission is to provide vital support to children, young people and families facing adversity through outdoor learning, community support and 1:1 counselling. The Trust focuses on supporting mental health, offering parental and family support, as well as assistance around education and employability.

Young people are referred to the Trust for help with various challenges such as poor mental health, struggles in school, isolation from friends and family, risk of exploitation, low self-esteem, self-harming tendencies, difficulties in finding the right path for training and employment, or a challenging home life.

I am participating in the London Marathon 2025 to raise funds for the Brathay Trust. This marathon event will take place on April 27th, 2025. My goal is to raise £2,000 to support the incredible work of the Brathay Trust.

Your generous contribution will make a real difference in the lives of these young people and families. Together, we can provide hope and opportunities for a brighter future.
