I'm fortunate enough to be surrounded by so many INCREDIBLE women in my life. Friends I get to call my family, amazing colleagues and most important of all, my daughter, Harper. My absolute world. I want to grow old with these amazing people, and watch my own little lady live a healthy and fulfilling life.

So, when the opportunity came up to join Team Empower and help raise crucial funds for Prevent Breast Cancer, it was a no brainer. I didn't even know what the challenge was, it didn't matter, I was doing it.

Why?

Because Breast Cancer is the biggest cause of death in women aged 35-49 in the UK. I also had a cancer scare of my own at the age of just 25 and it was terrifying. So it is as absolute honour to be able to help raise funds to create a new breast cancer screening facility in Manchester which will help save thousands of lives through prevention and detection.

So...on the 14th October I'm tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks! It's no biggy really... just a marathon, climbing 5,200ft, in less than 12 hours :) Easy.... she says! Famous last words...
