On 14th September 2025, Claire and Bonita will take on the challenge of abseiling down the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. This is not just about conquering heights; it’s a thankyou for the incredible care received from CCC and the importance of their ongoing work.

Claire faced a breast cancer diagnosis in January 2023. What could have been an overwhelming year filled with chemotherapy, surgery, and radiotherapy was transformed by the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. Their dedication goes beyond their jobs; they provide hope and strength when it’s needed most. This abseil is our way of showing gratitude for their unwavering support.

Bonita has witnessed firsthand the impact of Clatterbridge Cancer Centre through her sisters battle with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. The exceptional care and comfort provided during this difficult time have been pivotal in her sisters recovery journey. Hearing that there are no visible signs of cancer remaining is nothing short of miraculous, especially considering the challenges faced along the way.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a facility right on our doorstep. As we prepare for this event, we invite you to join us in supporting the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Our target is to raise £500 to help continue their vital work in cancer treatment and research.
