On 12th July, Claire and Harry will be completing this very personal hike in order to raise funds for Motor Neurones Disease. Tony (Claire’s Dad and Harry’s ‘Da’) passed away in September 2024 following rapid progression of MND which kills a third of people within a year and more than half within two years of diagnosis. Tony’s disease progressed so rapidly, he wasn’t even able to receive a formal diagnosis as the neurology waiting list was 7 months and even though he was fast-tracked it was too late.
