Story

Claire’s Getting Locked Up for Hertford Museum!

They say you can’t escape life’s certainties… but this October, Claire Austin from Austin’s Funeral Directors is determined to prove otherwise!

On 24th October, Claire will be locked up in the historic dungeons of Hertford Castle, charged with the terrible crime of being too community-minded. Her only hope of release? Raising £500 in bail money to support Hertford Museum and its fantastic children’s activity programmes.

As Managing Director of a tenth-generation family business that’s proudly served Hertfordshire since 1700, Claire knows the importance of heritage and tradition, and what better way to preserve it than by helping the Museum continue inspiring the next generation?

It’s not every day you see a funeral director trying to make a quick getaway, but Claire’s ready to swap hearses for handcuffs, and sympathy cards for sponsorship!

Please dig deep (pun absolutely intended) and help Claire make a grave escape for a truly worthy cause. Every pound you donate will go directly towards keeping Hertford’s history alive and accessible for all.

Sponsor Claire’s Jailbreak and help her earn her freedom!
