Claire's abseil (and drop kick challenge) for Rugby Against Cancer

Abseiling the Spinnaker Tower · 5 July 2025
I’m raising money in memory of my dad who chose Rugby Against Cancer as his charity.
He was 64 when he died. We didn’t have much time to find out all his wishes so it feels extra important to honour this one.
Rugby was important to Dad and I think it’s his way of giving back to the rugby community.
He was involved over the last two years in my skipping challenges so I’ll miss his support but I’m hoping I will do him proud.
I’m terrified of abseiling the tower (not sure what I was thinking 😂) but I’ll do it anyway. And as a bonus I’m going to learn to kick a rugby ball over the goal posts because I should include a rugby element to the challenge!
All support is hugely appreciated - it’s going to be an emotional one but I’m hoping I can reach my target!
