In 2026, I'm taking on my biggest challenge yet: a 50km off-road Ultramarathon across the South Downs in May, followed by a 50km trek through the Sahara desert in October.

Over the past few years, with the help of my youngest son Hector, we have raised an incredible £18,406 for St Clare Hospice. This year, I'm aiming for an ambitious milestone of £25,000!

I am dedicating these challenges to the memory of my Dad, Robert Bowers, and someone very close to our family, Tara Gallagher, who we tragically lost just before Christmas 2024. Both Tara and my Dad were cared for by St Clare's in the final weeks of their lives, and we are forever grateful for the compassionate care they received and the invaluable support the hospice provided to our family.
