Story
In April 2026, I will be taking the ultimate leap of faith, freefalling from 15,000ft at speeds reaching up to 120mph+ in this once in a lifetime skydiving experience in support of the vital care The Kirkwood provides to patients and families at their Hospice site in Dalton, Huddersfield, and in patients' own homes and care homes across the breadth of Kirklees. -
The Kirkwood is a charity close to my heart where my beautiful mum spent her last days of her life there, not only did they offer the vital care for my mum in the last days of her life but also for me and my brother, I was only 15 at the time of my mums death and the staff team went above and beyond for us as a family and I will never ever forget their kindness and support.
Now it is time for me to give a little back, I am 53 and ready to take the leap of faith and I just can’t wait to do this for such an amazing cause.
So please will you help me support this vital service and charity by sponsoring my daredevil antics?
Your support and sponsorship will go towards helping those living with life limiting illnesses in your community receive the care and support they need for the best quality of life possible, from diagnosis of a life limiting illness to end of life. - Any donation you make towards my fundraising will be very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your support…
See you on the other side; love Claire ♥️
